Van Laar artist Paolo Fresu organized a festival of music and entertainment on May 31st, 2014, with the aim of contributing to the restoration of Sardinian schools that were damaged by floods in November 2013. The concert was broadcasted on Italian National TV and Radio. A rich cast of 20 artists donated their time and talent to the cause. Van Laar artist Luca Aquino performed at the event as well.
