My wonderful VAN LAAR OIRAM II trumpet is back from maintenance and gold plating 
I love this horn: it feels like it was built for me, I can easily create the exact sound I have in my head, it’s super versatile and playing it feels so natural that in the best moments this instrument just feels like an extension of my body. I have used this trumpet since 2018, so you hear it on my albums DECADE LIVE, GO, CONTINUUM and now CLOSER. Hub van Laar is a brilliant trumpet & flugelhorn maker 
It just seems that my palm sweat has become more aggressive over the years and started to react with the original raw brass finish… thankfully VAN LAAR now gold plated my horn for me so I don’t have to run around with green fingers on my left hand any longer
