Dutch Radio maker Fatos Vladi is fascinated by the creation of the trumpet sound. He followed Hub van Laar and former soloist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Peter Masseurs, trumpeter, composer and performer Eric Vloeimans and Marco Blaauw,  who is specialized in contemporary music and player of the “double bell trumpet”. All three share one passion: the quest for the ultimate trumpet sound. Heralds of the sound is a radio documentary in Dutch.
