On Saturday, 05 October 2019, the Van Laar team were in Paris for a very special event. Together with our local dealer L’Olifant and Pan Piper Paris, we organized an event which was dedicated wholly to the trumpet. Naturally, our range of instruments was on display for testing, and the team was glad to answer all our visitors’ questions. What is more, the Italian trumpeters Paolo Fresu and Luca Aquino gave master classes to enthusiastic musicians and music lovers, followed by a concert with the two maestros and Stéphane Belmondo. After the concert, a jam session took place together with fellow trumpeters Renaud Gensane, Alexis Bourguignon, Christian Altehülshorst, Pierre-Antoine Savoyat and Julien Alour. We should like to thank all these superb performers – and the supporting musicians on the piano, drums and bass – for a fantastic musical experience.

The classes are open to all musicians and music lovers – whether amateur or professional, young or old.

13:00 – 18:00 Exhibition by Van Laar Trumpets & Flugelhorns
Hub van Laar and his team will be present for a “meet and greet” and will be glad to answer your questions.
20:00 – 22:00 Concert with Paolo Fresu and Luca Aquino
After the concert a jam session will take place with Van Laar trumpeters Renaud Gensane, Alexis Bourguignon and Philippe Slominski.
