Slovak Jazz Trumpeter and Composer. Awarded for the ESPRIT prize (2014, 2017, 2022) and RADIO_HEAD prize (2021, 2022) for the best jazz album of the year. Leader of own Jazz Orchestra and member of ‘Gustav Brom Radio Big Band’ and ‘Big Band Matthew Jakabčic’.
I have never played better trumpets and special flugelhorns than those made by Mr Hub van Laar. The instruments have a beautiful sound in full range, are always in tune and have great spirit.
