The first time I played a Van Laar trumpet I was instantly impressed by the way these horns played, sounded and centred evenly across the range of the instrument while maintaining great intonation. They project a real brightness and sizzle in their sound, the valves have a real easy flowing motion and all the horns feel great to hold. The craftsmanship and finish on these fine instruments are nothing short of brilliant.
