With a bell flare that is somewhat different from the R1, the R2 is a very vibrant and sparkling trumpet. It has an effortless projection and produces a sparkling sound when needed, but is also capable of blending into a section or of playing a smooth solo, making it the perfect instrument for any type of playing situation.
