Ron van der Wees

Ron van der Wees was born in The Hague, Netherlands where he studied at the Royal Conservatory as a student of Theo Laanen after which he emigrated to Canada where he played with many prestigious groups.

He is an avid and enthusiastic collector of brass instruments and recently acquired an OIRAM II trumpet and an OIRAM flugelhorn.
