Having played the Van Laar 9.1 trumpet for a week now, I’m becoming increasingly enthusiastic about the instrument. I have put my old trumpet away and will never return to it again. Sure, I have to get used to some notes and registers, but these were far more difficult on my ‘old’ trumpet and they are now unbelievably easy! Getting accustomed to my new instrument is a great feeling, I can assure you! There are no drawbacks at all. Nice work, Hub, and my sincere admiration for your craftsmanship!
